Life Beads exists to provide sustainable income, Christian discipleship, and Biblical community to women in a war torn region of Northern Uganda. The women of Life Beads make a variety of jewelry from start to finish. First, they roll the beads out of paper. They then dip them in a glue that hardens and keeps them together. Once the beads have dried, they are used to assemble all of the designs you see stateside!
This program provides these women with sustainable income; it is essential for them to pay school fees, medical bills, and to be able to meet the daily needs of their family. But most importantly, the women of Life Beads are provided with a space to worship, pray, and read God’s word together. Life change has and continues to happen in the bead room of Life Beads.
