Welcome to the Auburn Parks and Recreation podcast, where we celebrate our vibrant community and all the services we provide! With 14 parks, 8 recreation facilities, and a variety of athletic and arts programs, we cater to residents of all ages, from youth sports to adult fitness and therapeutic initiatives. We host over 52 events annually, with highlights like the Auburn CityFest, which attracts more than 20,000 visitors, and the SummerNight Downtown Art Walk. Our mission is to enhance the quality of life in Auburn through exceptional leisure services and effective cemetery management.

Looking ahead, we're excited to announce the opening of the Lake Wilmore Campus in late fall 2024, featuring state-of-the-art facilities including gyms, an indoor track, a covered pool and 12 covered and lighted pickleball courts. Additionally, we're expanding our community offerings with the construction of Ann Pearson Park and the Boykin Project, which will include a splash pad, library and a new cultural center.
